Website Services Agreement

1. Parties

This agreement is between Slightly Artistic LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("Slightly Artistic", "we", "us"), and the business named at checkout ("you", "Client"). The package you buy, and anything we agreed in writing during your consult (email is fine), make up the "Project Scope".

2. What we'll build

• A custom website matching the package you bought: page count, features, and revision rounds as listed on the packages page at the time of purchase.
• On-page SEO setup (titles, descriptions, structured data, sitemap), mobile-responsive design, and basic accessibility practices.
• Anything outside the Project Scope (extra pages, new features, copywriting beyond polish, photography, logo design) is quoted separately before any work starts.

3. Payment

1. Deposit. 50% of the package price is due at checkout. Work begins once it's paid and the onboarding questionnaire is submitted.
2. Balance. The remaining 50% is due at launch. You authorize us to charge the payment method saved at checkout for the balance when the site goes live, or when the project is considered complete under §5.
3. Deposits are non-refundable once design work has started. If you cancel before we start design work, we'll refund the deposit minus Stripe's processing fees.
4. If a charge fails, we'll email you a payment link. Work or launch may pause until it's paid.

4. Revisions and approval

Your package includes a set number of revision rounds. A round is one consolidated list of changes sent to us. Extra rounds are billed at our current hourly rate, and we'll confirm with you first. Your written approval of the final preview (email is fine) authorizes launch.

5. Your part

• Provide content, images, logo files, and domain/registrar access through the onboarding questionnaire. You confirm you have the right to use everything you give us.
• Respond to review requests within 7 days.
• If we're waiting on you for 30 days, the project is paused and goes to the back of the schedule. After 60 days of no response, the project is considered complete as delivered and the balance becomes due. We'll email you before either happens.

6. Ownership

Once the build is paid in full, you own the site's design, content, and code created for you, and your domain always stays yours. We may reuse our own general tools, components, and know-how. We may list the finished site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

7. Hosting & Care plan

1. Start and price. Your care plan starts at launch. Hosting & Care is $150 per month, or $1,500 per year paid up front. Online stores use E-commerce Care: $200 per month, or $2,000 per year paid up front. Your plan and billing choice are in your Project Scope. We'll give you 30 days' notice before any price change; a year you've already paid for isn't affected.
2. Included: managed hosting, SSL, CDN and security via Cloudflare, security patching, daily backups kept for 30 days, uptime monitoring, and a monthly report. E-commerce Care also includes a monthly test purchase, checkout checks after platform changes, and up to two small product updates a month (adding or removing a product using your existing layout, with photos and text you supply; unused updates don't carry over).
3. Not included: content changes, new pages or features, and copywriting. We quote these separately or bill them hourly with your approval.
4. First term. The plan has a 12-month first term that starts at launch, paid monthly or for the year up front.
5. Renewal. At least 30 days before a 12-month term ends, we'll email you the option to renew for another 12 months, paid monthly or up front. If you don't renew, the plan continues month to month at the monthly price, and either side may cancel with 30 days' written notice.
6. Cancelling during a 12-month term. If you paid monthly, the remaining monthly payments for that term become due, up to a maximum of $600. If you paid for the year up front, unused months aren't refunded.
7. When the plan ends. We'll hand over a complete copy of your site files and help point your domain to a new host.
8. Uptime. We work hard to keep your site online but can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Outages caused by hosting or network providers are outside our control.

8. Liability

We'll do the work carefully and professionally. Beyond that, the website and services are provided without other warranties. Our total liability under this agreement is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as lost profits.

9. General

• Arizona law governs this agreement, and any dispute will be handled in Maricopa County, Arizona.
• This agreement and the Project Scope are the whole agreement between us. Changes must be in writing (email counts).
• If any part of this agreement turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
